Hospice is not necessarily a place but more a philosophy of care. Hospice is dedicated to providing comprehensive and quality care to anyone with a life limiting illness and their family. Hospice care is a choice and an option you make to enhance life for a person dealing with a life-threatening illness. Hospice care emphasizes comfort measures and support for the family.
Hospice offers patients the freedom to remain in their own home with their family or wherever you call home. This is accomplished through the physical, emotional and spiritual support they receive from the Hendrick Hospice Care team. The Hospice team is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide patient care and family support when needed.
Hendrick Hospice Care focuses on maintaining dignity, increasing quality of life, providing comfort, including pain and symptom control for our patients.
