The upcoming session of Club Courage begins Tuesday, January 31, 2012, and meets each Tuesday through March 6, 2012, from 7 - 8 p.m.
Club Courage is a six-week support group offered twice a year for children and teens, ages kindergarten – 12th grade, who are experiencing loss. Children participate in activities that promote self-esteem, encourage self-healing and provide an outlet for unexpressed emotions. The supportive environment helps each child develop healthy coping skills through a variety of grief exercises. Club Courage is beneficial for children and teens experiencing loss due to death, divorce, separation, deployment, incarceration and other painful transitions.
For immediate children's grief-related needs, please contact Aimee Colley at 325.670.6951 or acolley@ehendrick.org

Club Courage exists in part because of generous volunteers. Our volunteers give their time, expertise and love to work with children who need healing and hope. Applications are accepted from licensed counselors and social workers as well as individuals who have experienced grief first-hand and want to support others through the process. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and are reviewed accordingly.
