About Our Program

Program Description

Hendrick Medical Center School of Radiography is a 21-month hospital based program where students learn about the field of radiology with a primary focus in diagnostic radiography. This will include one day a week of classroom instruction and the remaining 4 days a week in clinical rotations. Rotations will allow the student to learn how to perform x-ray examinations, how to deliver quality patient care, and how to effectively communicate in the medical environment. Along with these rotations, students have the opportunity to observe in the other areas of radiology such as CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, and interventional radiology.

Our classroom provides an open and friendly setting that allows students to contribute.
